We just wrapped up a great year of ministry with college students. This year, we increased our presence on campus through attending Main stage, Gentle Friday, and setting up a table in the University Center. Community Church also stepped-up its small groups designed specifically for college students, seeing more students than ever before engaged in small group community. One of the most successful new initiatives this year were our mission trips for students. We offered one trip over Christmas break to hurricane devastated New Orleans to re-build homes and another trip during spring break to the impoverished inner city of Memphis. Students found that their lives were impacted as they were able to serve others in the name of Christ. Just before they packed-up to head out of Mt. Pleasant for the summer, we packed them into our church one more time to feed pancakes to hundreds of hungry college students at midnight during the first night of exams. Congratulations to those who graduated! And for the rest... we will see you in the fall!
