Associate Pastor Rev. Brian LaMew Small groups, adult discipleship, volunteerism, men's ministry - ext. 206 pastorbrian@mpcc.org Brian LaMew grew up in Michigan, graduating from Cadillac High School and earning an undergraduate degree in personal communications from Western Michigan University. He received his masters of divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2001. One of the main areas of Pastor Brian’s ministry involves volunteer recruitment and support. If you are looking for a place to serve at MPCC, Brian can help you find a ministry that will be a good fit for you and your gifts. If you need some guidance in drawing volunteers to your ministry, Brian can help you as well. In addition to a focus on volunteerism, he will also oversee men’s ministry, global missions, and will assist Pastor Scott and the staff in providing pastoral care to the church community.He is married to Shelle, who also received a masters of divinity from Asbury. They have two daughters: Chloe (2002) and Hannah (2005).

	Director of Children's Ministries Kathy Long Nursery-6th grade, vbs, mom's 101, women's night out - ext. 207 kathy@mpcc.org   Kathy joined the ministry staff in 1992 with enthusiasm to use her gifts of leadership, encouragement, creativity and hospitality to implement programs for ministry to children and adults. With a vision, and a team of incredible volunteers she initiated a ministry for senior adults and developed equipping/outreach opportunities through the annual Women's Fall Workshops and Women's Comedy Night(s) Out. Kathy has created six rotating thematic vacation Bible school curriculums that provide over 550 children each summer with a unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity to take their first or next steps in following Jesus. Kathy's passion for the church and connecting people to Christ and His Community began at a young age while growing up in a minister's home. Majoring in Christian Education, she graduated in 1976 from Vancouver Bible College (British Columbia, Canada -where she met her Canadian husband) Kathy offers workshops in the areas of Hospitality; Family Traditions; and children's ministry topics. Her husband, Ed teaches Family Studies at Central Michigan University and is a Marriage Therapist. They have two children; a son, Toby(1978) is studying at Princeton Seminary and is married to Andrea, a fourth grade teacher. Their daughter, Tarami(1981) is studying elementary education at CMU. In Kathy's free time she loves to share her home with others, find a good bargain, camp and travel with her family.
	Director of Operations Rob Muldoon Administration, finance, facility - ext. 208 rob@mpcc.org The function of the Director of Operations position is "to advance the vision and mission of MPCC by providing efficient administration of the business and organizational affairs of the church." Rob oversees personnel, facilities, finances, and stewardship/fundraising. Rob brings strong administration skills, church business experience, and a pastoral heart to the job. He is an ordained Wesleyan minister and has a deep love for Jesus Christ and His Church. Rob and his wife, Mary, have three grown children: Will, Mike, and Maygen.
	Pastor of Care Rev. Ralph Fisher Weddings, funerals, pastoral counseling, sixty plus group - ext. 204 ralph@mpcc.org Ralph Fisher is a retired Nazarene pastor, having served for 38 years in active pastoral ministry in the Church of the Nazarene. Before coming to Mt. Pleasant Community Church, he served churches in Iatan and Kansas City, Missouri; Mancelona, Ludington, Clare, Lansing and Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. He holds degrees from Olivet Nazarene University (B.A.) and (M.A. Counseling), Nazarene Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri (M. Div.). He has a heart for pastoral care and evangelism. Ralph is married to Marlene and they have three children: Tammy Mann in Bismarck, North Dakota, Peter in Boston, Massachusetts, and Terry in South Carolina at Shaw AFB. Ralph and Marlene have seven grandchildren.
